National Gaming day @ Abbett! Saturday, November 15 from 2:00-3:30 PM. Come celebrate National gaming day @ your library! we will have DDR set up as well as some other fun games to choose from. Video gamers and board gamers both welcome.
Join TACAL (Teens Assisting the Community and the Library) on Friday, November 28 from 3:00-4:00 PM. for ages 13-18. Pick up an application to join our new Teen Advisory Group. At this meeting we will get started on planning our first major project. Come with your ideas for how to tackle problems facing youth and how to improve library services.
Teen Tiki: Wednesday, November 26th from 6-7 pm. For ages 13-18. Come to the Teen non-book club where we have "parties" once a month, play games and do other activites. New members welcome!
Family Craft Night on Thursday, November 13 from 6-7 pm. Come make some hanging leaves for fall. Instructions and materials available while supplies last.
Teen Movie Night: Tuesday, November 18 at 5:30 PM. for ages 12 and up. come join us for a movie, snacks and drinks.
Homework Help is here on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 PM. Drop in and get help with your homework from a friendly tutor. We meet in the Children's Meeting Room.
Teen Book Club (TBC): Wednesday, November 12 from 6-7 pm. for ages 13-18. Grab a nominated talking book or a quick pick. We will continue our discussion of the Teens' Top Ten nominees as well as the Shadow Children Series and then choose our new books.
Teen Gaming Night: November 20 from 6-7 pm. for ages 12 and up. It's FREE. Join us for Guitar Hero.
