Native American Science and Engineering Program


Are interested in pursing a college degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics?
The Native American Science and Engineering Program is a program designed to provide Native American students with the necessary resources to enroll in college and pursue a career in a Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics field.

Eligibility
  • Incoming High School Seniors (Class of 2011) who are on track to completing physics, chemistry, and pre-calculus or trigonometry with a “C” or higher
  • (High School Juniors from Tucson HS, Cholla HS, Pueblo HS, Sunnyside HS and Desert Vista HS will also be considered)
  • Identify as Native American or Alaskan/Hawaiian Native
  • Commit to the overnight residential program from June 20-25, 2010
  • Participate in academic tutoring (required for local students only)
  • Attend NASEP events offered throughout the 2010-2011 school year
  • Assist future NASEP participants with computer builds in your area
